Welcome to the Western New
York Chapter of AMBA
Welcome to WNY (Western New York) Chapter of AMBA (American Medical Billing Association). We are formed to provide networking and education opportunities to Medical Billers and Medical Coders. Our chapters focus is to continue educating students who receive their CMRS certification and provide continuing education units. To help assist new billing and coding staff with information on the latest local and national billing issues. To educate area healthcare providers on the benefits of hiring medical billing and coding staff who have CMRS certifications. Our monthly meetings will focus on networking and keeping up to date on the latest health care initiatives, and the latest initiatives on billing and coding regulations. We will also keep our members informed on training opportunities and webinars available through the national AMBA chapter. We encourage attendance at the annual AMBA conference and participate in events with the local AAPC. We are looking for new members to join our professional organization and share their ideas and experience with our members. Chapter Member is $25.00 per year and $10.00 for students-You must have a national member to join.
